How can you help?
Each season we search for “buddies”, soccer ;players between the ages of 11 and 19 who are willing to team up with TOPS players to help teach skills and have fun! The program is held on Saturday mornings for 60min. We ask Buddies to arrive 15 minutes before the players arrive. We are looking for Buddies to commit to at least 3 of the 7 sessions. Sessions may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Each season we also search for adult coaches to direct our players and buddies in games. Contact Steve above to volunteer. Parents can volunteer through the registration link for their player.
Who makes this possible?
TOPSoccer Buddies are volunteers who directly help individuals or teams with participation in a soccer activity. Buddies are there to develop the players skills and to keep them safe! Buddies can be a same-aged peer, a teenager, and even an adult peer who has the desire to help young children play the game of soccer. Buddies lead the drills, motivate the players, and help the players develop their skills! You do not have to be an experienced soccer player to be a buddy! Siblings, parents, friends, or even fellow members of a community can volunteer with TOPSoccer!
Volunteers / Buddy Program
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program Soccer) is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a Special Need.
TOPSoccer Buddies are invaluable volunteers who participate directly with individual players or within a team with several players to enable participation in a soccer activity.
The TOPSoccer buddy is not a player and does not score goals. They help the TOPSoccer player succeed and keep them as safe as possible.

- Enables player to participate/play
- Assists/Creates/Directs/Guides/Teaches in a FUN but learning environment
